Project Scope & Technical Details:
Substrate Preparation: Removed failing cedar shakes down to the structural frame and installed 1/2” 4-ply CDX plywood sheathing directly over the existing lath system.
Synthetic Shake System: Installed Brava Synthetic Shake tiles in the Weathered profile, replicating the authentic look of traditional split cedar shakes with superior impact and fire resistance.
Alpine Snow Guard System: Engineered and installed a heavy-duty snow retention system utilizing Alpine Snow Guards to prevent hazardous snow slides and protect lower roof sections, gutters, and landscaping.
